Multipurpose protective, mosturising skin and nail balm, massage oil.

The restorative formulation contains plant oils (almond and coconut) which are readily absorbed into the skin. These oils have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cleansing properties, and are rich in vitamins A and E. Almond oil can aid skin healing and help in post operative scar reduction. Coconut oil is anti-microbial and a very effective skin softener. Both oils have been found beneficial by sufferers of acne, eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. The formula also contains beeswax which forms a protective barrier on the surface of the skin, providing a film of protection against irritants and dryness whilst still allowing the skin to breathe. Beeswax is also reported to have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.

The relaxing blend of pure essential oils, including rose and lavender scenting the balm are calming, balancing and uplifting. Certain of the oils are known to balance the adrenal cortex, reducing nervous tension and relieving feelings of anxiety and depression. Others are known for their ability to influence the autonomic nervous system and regulate heart rate variability, thus reducing muscle and joint pain and promoting sleep and relaxation. The oils in the blend are good for circulation and cleansing and have demonstrated anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. Some of the oils in the blend are known to stimulate the secretion of certain hormones which lessen sensitivity to pain. In addition to its calming, balancing properties, there is also a joyful, stimulating freshness to the scent. There is an unscented version for sensitive skins and noses, and for use during pregnancy.
