Hot stone deep tissue massage incorporates deep tissue techniques and the therapeutic benefits of heat via hot basalt stones. It is not a ‘spa’ style superficial massage, rather the hot stones are used as massage tools to facilitate increased tissue relaxation and deep remedial work. The hot stones are usually extremely relaxing and can be beneficial in areas which feel chronically tight or painful.
